Our gite, which we have named La Grange des Commères is a substantial stone
built barn which has been converted to provide very spacious and comfortable
accommodation for 6 to 8 people. There are three double bedrooms with sofa beds
offering two or more additional places.
There is a large bathroom with a shower, bath and all of the other
'essential facilities' and downstairs, another WC
The kitchen has been arranged to provide a level of cooking capability that
one might expect at home. We have found that in our experience of renting Gites
that there are usually not enough pots, pans, and utensils to do justice to the
wonderful food that is available in the local markets - and surprisingly - in
the supermarkets.
We really cannot oversell the fabulous views from La Grange and have arranged
the terraces so that one can always enjoy the best of the sun or shelter whilst
enjoying a superlatively pretty view.
We have a 12 by 6
metre pool adjacent to the main terrace of the Grange which will only available
to those staying
in the gite and our family. The pool is surrounded on three sides by timber
decking with the side facing the view left as a grass slope so that people in
the pool can enjoy an uninterrupted view.
